It all gets very confusing

It looks like there's been no updates for ages... somehow, they all disappeared. My guess is that the government didn't want you to see the joy that can be had with no corporate sponsorship. Or I might have pressed the wrong button.

The latter gigs last year were great fun, and it would be criminal not to share them with you, my absent friends. So in the forthcoming weeks in advance of the 2014 leg of the seemingly endless 100 Gigs, I shall endeavour to recreate those moments here (or at least the drivel I wrote after them).

The year is shaping up fabulously, so stay tuned. And please stop asking me how long it's going to take. The answer is, to quote the late great Freddie Mercury, "until we all fucking die!".

Some people might have thought twice about returning to the North Yorkshire coast after the mishap in Scarbs, but not me. Oh no. It was with absolutely no hesitation at all I agreed to play the Filey Folk Festival. What could possibly go wrong?

The Minerva, 6th July

So, with the rain coming down horizontally, at one point I thought the gig on the banks of The Humber was going to be in it...
